Our sheep are mainly Welsh half bred X Texel. They live outside all the time except during lambing when they come in for a few days for shelter from the weather and predators like foxes, badgers ,crows and magpies.
The sheep lamb over a four month period to keep a supply of succulent tender meat right through until February when we may have a shortage of lamb for a couple of months.
The lambs consume nothing but mother’s milk and grass giving our lamb a truly natural taste and usually very, very lean.
